On October 4, 2022, Lisa C. Geiger, a 58-year-old resident of Charleston, West Virginia, was found dead in her home located in the 1300 block of Adele Street. The discovery was made by police officers who responded to the residence for a well-being check. Upon arrival, the officers observed Geiger's body through a window, prompting them to force entry into the home.
