On a tragic day in late summer, the life of a beloved seventy-two-year-old White female, Nancy Debbie Love Belcher, was cut short in her Charleston, West Virginia home. On August 30, 2022, the woman affectionately known as "Debbie" to her friends and family, was fatally shot. Belcher, a retired nurse who had dedicated over 25 years to caring for others at CAMC, was a cherished member of her Kanawha City community, often seen walking her dogs.
