On September 19, 2018, the bodies of Jenni Chesney, 47, and Kenneth Campbell, 50, were discovered in an apartment at 3921 Washington St. W. in Charleston, West Virginia. The two victims, who lived together at the address, were found dead from gunshot wounds, along with their dog, which was also shot to death.
