Dora Hernandez, a 21-year-old Hispanic female, found her life tragically cut short on August 15, 2003, in Denison, Iowa. The young woman was discovered in the parking lot of the Farmland Foods meat processing plant where she was an employee. She had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner. Her body was subsequently taken to Sioux City for an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.
