On October 11, 2010, a tragic incident occurred in Des Moines, Iowa, resulting in the death of 24-year-old Carrie Russell. The event unfolded outside a home on the east side of Des Moines, where Russell resided. According to police reports, Russell was shot by 25-year-old Robert Sears, a man with whom she had a prior relationship.
