In the quiet early morning hours of July 18, 2009, the life of 29-year-old Holly Rae Durben, a White/Caucasian woman, came to a violent end in the rural Fremont County, Iowa, farmhouse she shared with her fiancé. Her fiancé, Brian Davis, placed a 911 call, reporting that Holly had shot herself in the head.
