On June 15, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in West Des Moines, Iowa, resulting in the deaths of four members of the Sunkara family. Lavanya Sunkara, aged 41, along with her two sons, ages 15 and 10, were found dead in their home. The forensic autopsies conducted on June 16, 2019, determined that the manner of death for Lavanya Sunkara and the two boys was homicide.
