On November 30, 2015, a tragic incident occurred in Des Moines, Iowa, resulting in the deaths of Heather Belieu, 31, and her fiancé, Bryon Howard, 36. The victims were found dead in the basement of a home, where they had been shot multiple times while they were sleeping. Heather Belieu was particularly heartbreaking as she was holding her infant in her arms at the time of the shooting.
