On September 11, 2008, Michele Ann Cosner Davis, a 41-year-old mother from Des Moines, Iowa, was found dead in what initially appeared to be a fatal car accident. However, the investigation by the Des Moines Police Department (D.M.P.D.) revealed that her death was actually a homicide.
