On a day that should have been filled with warmth and family, 20-year-old Kari Lynn San Miguel's life was tragically cut short in West Jordan, Utah. It was November 26, 2004, when the young mother of two sons died.

Initial reports surrounding the female's death pointed to an accidental killing. However, the circumstances were deemed culpable by law enforcement, leading to the arrest of her 20-year-old boyfriend, Jose Luis Topete. He was subsequently booked into the Salt Lake County Jail. ...
