Michelle Welch, 54, female, White/Caucasian, was a longtime public-safety dispatcher who had recently retired after more than 30 years of service. In the early hours of November 21, 2009, she was shot inside her West Jordan, Utah home in a gated neighborhood near 6800 South and 1000 West.
