In the quiet community of West Jordan, Utah, a devastating tragedy unfolded on December 17, 2009, claiming the life of 4-year-old White male Raiden Matern. The young boy, along with his 6-year-old brother Gabriel and their 31-year-old mother Melissa Ann Matern, were found deceased in their apartment in what was determined to be a triple murder-suicide.
