Francisco Antonio Colon, a 40-year-old White man, was shot and killed in South Salt Lake, Utah, on the evening of June 23, 2014. The incident, which also left a 17-year-old passenger with non-life-threatening injuries, was described by investigators as a possibly gang-related shooting. Colon was driving a silver Chevy Avalanche near 200 East and Helm Avenue when he sustained a single gunshot wound to his upper body.
