In the late hours of a Tuesday night in June 2019, emergency services responded to a call at a residence in Midvale, Utah, initially reported as an attempted suicide. Inside, they found 27-year-old Shaina Bigby with a life-threatening gunshot wound to her head. She was rushed to a local hospital in extremely critical condition and placed on life support. Tragically, the young woman, a resident of Taylorsville, succumbed to her injuries the following day, on June 26, 2019.
