In a quiet Midvale, Utah neighborhood, the life of 65-year-old Eilleen Lyon came to a tragic end in what police have described as a murder-suicide. On the morning of Tuesday, September 23, 2025, officers from the Unified Police Department arrived at the home Lyon shared with her 63-year-old husband, Terry Lyon, on Jefferson Street to conduct a welfare check after one of them failed to show up for work.
