On May 3, 2022, 23-year-old Brooklyn Elise Odland Tyree from Salt Lake City, Utah, was fatally shot by her ex-boyfriend, Brandon Zipperle. Following the murder, Zipperle disposed of her body in a remote area of Tooele County, Utah.
