On the night of June 28, 2009, the life of 43-year-old Alice Morrin, a female resident of Vernon, Connecticut, came to a tragic and violent end. In the home she shared with her husband and two daughters, a domestic disturbance escalated into a horrifying murder-suicide. Alice had frantically sent text messages to a friend, revealing the immediate danger she was in, at one point writing, "Jim just dragged me in our room put loaded gun to my head.".
