William Ackerman, a 51-year-old White male, found his life tragically cut short on the morning of August 3, 2010, in Manchester, Connecticut. A longtime employee at Hartford Distributors, Ackerman was known by friends as a family man and a devoted fan of University of Connecticut athletics.
