On a Monday evening in August 2015, concern grew for 37-year-old Ingrid Delrio-Garcia, a female resident of East Haven, Connecticut. A family member, knowing her to be very active on social media, became worried after not hearing from her for about a day. This concern prompted the family member to flag down a patrolling police officer to report their inability to get in touch with her. The subsequent welfare check at her Foxon Boulevard home would uncover a tragic scene.
