In the early morning hours of March 7, 2023, the life of 45-year-old Catherine Nicole Curry Roberts, a Black/African American woman from Waterbury, Connecticut, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded at her home on Mark Lane, where she was shot and killed. Her 19-year-old son was also shot and wounded during the violent encounter but was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
