On a late summer evening in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the life of Immanuel White, a 22-year-old Black / African American male, was cut short by gunfire. On September 10, 2016, at approximately 11:04 p.m., White was shot twice in the torso in the vicinity of 432 Wells Street.
