Darrell Peden, age 17, was tragically shot and killed on July 18, 2016, in Chicago's West Garfield Park neighborhood. The incident took place in the 4400 block of West West End Avenue. Darrell was found lying in the street with gunshot wounds when officers responded around 9:25 p.m. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.
