In the winter of 1935, a sense of duty called upon Deputy Sheriff Park Franklin Williams as he patrolled Greene County, Arkansas. At 34 years of age, he had dedicated three years of his life to law enforcement, earning the respect of his community. On Wednesday, December 18th, his commitment to protect and serve would tragically cost him his life.
