On March 24, 1998, Paige Ann Herring, a 12-year-old student at Westside Middle School in Jonesboro, Arkansas, was tragically killed in a school shooting orchestrated by two of her classmates. The assailants, 13-year-old Mitchell Johnson and 11-year-old Andrew Golden, executed a meticulously planned attack that resulted in the deaths of Paige and four others, including teacher Shannon Wright and students Natalie Brooks, Stephanie Johnson, and Britthney Varner.
