In the late hours of a Sunday night in March 2017, the life of 21-year-old Alicia 'Bird' Carr was tragically cut short in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The female victim was a mother and was known for her enjoyment of sports like track, basketball, and swimming. The events that led to her death began to unfold when she drove two teenage acquaintances to an apartment on North Allis Street to confront another teenager, 16-year-old Austin Dalton Ivy, about an alleged theft.
