On July 11, 2014, 62-year-old Anthony Branch and 58-year-old Deborah Moncrief were found deceased in Moncrief's home on Cowboy Drive in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Branch's daughter discovered the bodies around 6:30 a.m., noting that neither victim appeared to have suffered trauma. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office initiated an investigation into the deaths.
