In the late summer of 2014, a violent altercation on a porch in Forrest City, Arkansas, claimed the life of Lewis Thompson, a Black/African American male. The events unfolded on August 5th, when local police responded to a call of shots fired at 615 North Gorman Street. Upon arrival, officers did not find a victim at the reported address.
