In Fort Smith, Arkansas, a tragic event unfolded on May 26, 2017, leading to the death of 48-year-old Long Nguyen. The community was shaken when police were called to a residence on Furman Avenue, where they discovered a grim scene. Inside the home, Long Nguyen, along with two other men, Pho Vu, 56, and Dinh To, 47, were found deceased, all having sustained gunshot wounds.
The initial investigation by the Fort Smith Police Department pointed towards a double murder-suicide.
It is believed that Dinh To fatally shot both Long Nguyen and Pho Vu before turning the gun on himself. A handgun was recovered at the scene, corroborating the preliminary findings of the authorities.
