In the autumn of 2017, the life of 28-year-old Dewayne Turner of Blytheville, Arkansas, was tragically cut short. On the evening of October 10th, authorities in Jonesboro responded to calls of gunfire around 7:20 p.m. Arriving at the 900 block of Logan Avenue, just east of the downtown area, they discovered Turner's body lying in the street. A talented tattoo artist and a father to two daughters, his sudden and violent death sent ripples of shock and grief through his community.
