In the early hours of May 21, 2018, Steven Holmes, aged 39, was fatally shot in West Memphis, Arkansas. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. in the 400 block of South 13th Street, where Holmes and another individual were reportedly engaged in a heated exchange. Witnesses recounted that, following the altercation, the suspected shooter fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV.
