In the early morning hours of January 22, 2019, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Helena, Arkansas gas station, leaving a young man dead and a community in shock. Casey Grant, a 25-year-old resident of Arkansas, was fatally wounded as he sat in his vehicle at a gas pump at the Victory Fuels gas station located in the 500 block of Columbia street. The incident, which unfolded around 7:30 a.m., also left a 17-year-old passenger in Grant's SUV injured.
