In the summer of 2019, the community of Mountain Home, Arkansas, mourned the loss of Ashley D. Mooney, a 33-year-old female who passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019. Born on October 13, 1985, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Mark and Diana Dragon, Ashley was known for her outgoing and artistic nature.
Those who knew her remember a woman with a smile that could brighten any room. She found joy in crafting, floating, water sports, and playing softball.
Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family, especially her son, Landon. Their shared moments of singing together were particularly precious. On June 19, 2010, Ashley married Chad Mooney, and together they built a life in Mountain Home.
Her passing left a void in the hearts of many. She is survived by her husband, Chad, and their son, Landon. Her parents, Mark and Diana Dragon of Oxly, Missouri; a sister, Alicia Cisne of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and her in-laws, Randy and Regina Mooney of Mountain Home, also carry her memory. She was a beloved aunt, niece, and cousin to a large and loving extended family.
