On the evening of May 26, 2021, 18-year-old Caleb Sykes of North Little Rock was fatally shot in an incident that unfolded on South University Avenue in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Little Rock Police Department responded to reports of a disturbance involving two vehicles—a white Toyota Camry and a silver Kia sedan—near the 5200 block of S. University Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed that the white vehicle appeared to have bullet holes and vehicle debris was present at the scene.
