On October 10, 2021, a shooting occurred in the 9100 block of Auxor Road in Little Rock, Arkansas, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Keith Keon Harris. Upon arrival, officers were informed that a black Dodge Charger had transported the victims to the 5800 block of Hutsell Road. At this location, they found Harris inside the vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he was later pronounced dead.
In addition to Harris, a teenage male was also injured in the incident and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The specifics of his injuries and current condition were not disclosed.
Following the investigation, Little Rock police identified and arrested 29-year-old Bobby Banks Jr. as a suspect in connection with the homicide. He was charged with first-degree murder.
The arrest of Banks brought some measure of resolution to the case, though the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting continued. Authorities urged anyone with additional information to come forward to assist in the ongoing inquiry.
