On an autumn evening in the small community of Boles, Arkansas, a tragic event unfolded that would end the life of James Earl Simmons Jr. The 52-year-old man was discovered deceased inside a residence on October 1, 2023, the victim of a violent encounter. The Scott County Sheriff's Office was the first to arrive on the scene, where they found Simmons with what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds.
