In the spring of 2022, the life of 17-year-old Alfred York was tragically cut short. On the evening of Monday, April 18, 2022, the young Black / African American male was fatally wounded by gunfire in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The incident added to a growing number of homicides in the city that year.
