On the night of June 6, 2022, a sense of unease descended upon a home on Arkansas Highway 235, southwest of Yellville. Inside, 80-year-old Daniel W. Stine, a White male, was fatally shot. The Marion County Sheriff's Department received a call around 11:15 p.m. reporting an intruder at the residence. When deputies arrived, they discovered Mr. Stine's body, the victim of an apparent gunshot wound. A family member who was also in the house at the time of the shooting was questioned by authorities. ...
