On November 18, 2024, at approximately 5:15 p.m., Little Rock Police Department officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 2400 block of Pulaski Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 50-year-old Javier Alvares-Garcia unresponsive inside the vehicle, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The Pulaski County Coroner transported his body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy, and next of kin were notified.
