On November 10, 2022, Little Rock Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire at The Waters at Chenal apartment complex, located at 13500 Chenal Parkway. Upon arrival, witnesses informed officers that a vehicle had driven into a lake on the property. With assistance from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office water patrol, the submerged vehicle was retrieved, revealing the body of 57-year-old Roy King of Jacksonville, Arkansas, inside.
