On February 8, 2017, 29-year-old Wilford Waymon "Dee Jay" Banks III was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting on West 25th Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. According to reports, Banks was sitting in his car when a dark gray Camry approached a burgundy Kia. The occupant of the Camry opened fire on the Kia, continuing to shoot as the vehicle fled the scene. Banks was later found in the Kia, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
