On a Saturday night in Magnolia, Arkansas, the life of 32-year-old DeMontray Hall, a Black male, was tragically cut short by gun violence. It was November 12, 2022, when police received a call shortly before midnight that led them to a residence on Smith Street. There, they found Hall in the yard. He was rushed to Magnolia Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. This violent act was the first homicide reported in the city of Magnolia in 2022.
