In the late hours of a summer night in Magnolia, Arkansas, a burst of senseless violence tragically cut short the life of Brandon Hobdy, a 23-year-old male. The fatal shooting occurred in the early morning of August 24, 2014, outside the Veterans of Foreign Wars building. Hobdy, a promising senior wide receiver for the Southern Arkansas University football team, was an innocent bystander at what was described as a back-to-school party not affiliated with the university.
