In the summer of 1982, a tragic event unfolded in Phoenix, Arizona, leading to the death of 48-year-old Phoenix Police Officer John R. Davis. A veteran of the United States Army and a twelve-year member of the Phoenix Police Department, Officer Davis was known for his strong connection with the community.
