On February 21, 1986, Patrol Officer Glenn Raye Miles, a 42-year-old male member of the Tohono O'odham Nation, was tragically killed in the line of duty. With a commendable 15 years in law enforcement, Miles had dedicated five years to the United States Customs Service and a decade to the Tohono O'odham National Police Department.
