In the quiet community of Waddell, Arizona, a shocking act of violence shattered the peace of the Wat Promkunaram Buddhist temple. On the morning of August 10, 1991, the bodies of nine individuals were discovered, among them a 37-year-old male of Thai descent named Boochuay Chaiyarach. The victims were found lying face down in a circle, each having been shot in a manner that suggested a calculated execution.
