On a spring afternoon in Peoria, Arizona, a homeowners association meeting turned into a scene of terror and tragedy. Nila Lynn, a 69-year-old woman, was attending the meeting on April 19, 2000, at the Ventana Lakes Yacht Club with her husband, Duane. The couple was just three months shy of their 50th wedding anniversary. Little did they know that this ordinary day would end in heartbreak.
