On November 24, 2024, Hermilia G. Villarreal, a 74-year-old resident of Laredo, Texas, was found deceased in her apartment, located in the 7600 block of Laguna Del Mar Court. She was discovered alongside her 26-year-old granddaughter, Sarah Christina Villarreal, both having sustained gunshot wounds. One of the women was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
