On November 22, 2024, at approximately 10:30 p.m., 21-year-old Hinkley Leifi was fatally shot in a parking lot located in the 1500 block of West Meeker Street in Kent, Washington. Multiple 911 callers reported hearing between five to twelve gunshots and observed a man lying on the ground. Kent Police officers arrived promptly and administered lifesaving medical aid to Leifi, who had sustained several apparent gunshot wounds.
