On December 26, 2024, at approximately 12:55 a.m., Dallas police officers responded to a shooting incident in the 3100 block of Gulden Lane, near the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. Upon arrival, they discovered 26-year-old Elliot Jimenez suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention and transport to a local hospital, Jimenez was pronounced dead. The Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) team assisted at the scene.
