On December 6, 2024, 17-year-old Jarren Walker was fatally shot in Mesquite, Texas. The incident occurred just before midnight near North Galloway Avenue and Republic Parkway. Upon arrival, officers found Walker suffering from gunshot wounds; he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
